![]() ![]() With the settings above, I was able to sustain 65 MPH and hit 17 MPG consistently. I also have been playing with the driving coach. Couldn't ever do that more than a little chirp before. I can also do a burnout for about 5 seconds now before the ECU cuts power enough to stop it. With the sensitivity up on the throttle, that reluctant-to-downshift feeling is almost completely gone. I noticed a definite difference off the line with the 2* advance, WOT removed, 87 tune, and Performance level throttle sensitivity. I really dig all the different things this tuner can do. At most I would get an E85 tune for track days or something.Well, after reading this thread, and installing the files dudley sent me (thanks again man!), I was up and running in about 30 minutes. For the prices I am starting to see at the pump around here, it is actually cheaper for daily driving to keep using premium. Trouble with E85 right now is that the price is starting to not be worth it for Joe Average that's not interested in the power advantages over regular gas. Shit, mass recalls because the current cars are at the strict 10% limit? There are built in margins of error from the factory and tolerances, what would happen to all cars out there if government suddenly mandated 15 or 20% ethanol. Hell, formulations of E85 vary even from pump to pump, ask me how I know. The differences are NOT subtle between 10,15,60% ethanol. You won't find this information officially, namely at dealers of course. Start looking online and you'll see examples start emerging. ![]() Also confirmed this with the guys at Diablosport. It is popular amongst the SRT-4 crowd for easily understood reasons (cheap race gas). Lines some will recommend, there are plenty that have run E85 for years without trouble. ![]() That said, Dodge guys run tunes, fuel pump and bigger injectors. This clearly means there are exceptions to the rule and I'm not liable for your cracked fuel lines should yours not work with E85. Inflamatory posts aside, the key words I posted are "most cars". Maybe Subaru is the only manufacturer out there that overengineers it's cars. I've already acknowledged the fuel system (injectors, pump) and tune, so that was sort of redundant. Taz, if you care to explain what other mysterious "internal motor parts" are upgraded for E85, I'm all ears. I never claimed Subaru is "most cars", I used it as an example but don't make the mistake thinking it is the only manufacturer I based my opinion off of. I mean, Ford can't even take not replacing a damn fuel filter every 30K miles or so. Can someone give me the file so I can just copy it to my unit if they have already got it.Įver the inflamatory replies of Ormand I guess I never really disputed domestics per se come with shit parts. Looks like a new update came out on march 23rd has anyone installed it? I can never get the update agent to work for me I think because all my computers are 64bit.
